This short notice explains how J. Meijer en Zn. B.V. (trading as Meyer Tanks / Meijer Tanks), Zuidelijke Industrieweg 12, 8801 JB Franeker, The Netherlands, uses data on this website.

Contact form

If you send a message, we process your name, email address and message content to reply to your enquiry. We do not use this for marketing lists. Messages are kept as long as needed for the sales process.

Website statistics

When you open a product page we may store: IP address, approximate country, browser user-agent, date/time and which item was viewed. This is first-party server logging (no Google Analytics). We use it to see which equipment is of interest and to filter bots. Data is kept for operational statistics and cleaned up when no longer useful.

Country is derived from the IP using a local offline database (approximate). IP Geolocation by DB-IP.

Cookies

The public site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. On contact pages we may set a short-lived security cookie (tm_csrf) to protect the form. After you send a message, a small rate-limit cookie may be set to reduce spam. The admin area uses login cookies only for staff.

Fonts & third parties

Fonts are hosted on our own server. We do not load Google Fonts in the browser.
